JUDGEMENT

(1.) -UNION of India, through Chief Railway Manager has filed this revision petition against the order dated 14. 12. 2007 passed by the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Rajasthan in First Appeal No. 1051 of 2006 whereby the order of the District Forum in Complaint No. 327 of 1996 allowing the complaint has been confirmed.

(2.) THERE is a delay of 108 days in filing this revision petition. We have gone through the application filed by the revision petitioner for condonation of delay. The application merely mentions that it took some time to prepare the revision petition due to movement of file between Bikaner and Jaipur and there was lack of coordination in the administration.

(3.) IN our view, this is not a valid ground to condone the delay considering the fact situation that Railways represented very often in this Commission. They are fully aware of the period of limitation and the working of the Commission. There is no reason to condone the delay in filing the revision petition.
