TALKATORA GARDEN MORNING WALKERS ASSOCIATION Vs. NDMC

JUDGEMENT

(1.) vide order dated 4th January, 2007 passed in the aforesaid complaint this Commission had restrained NDMC from holding any marriage parties or any other event in the premises of Talkatora Garden, New Delhi. This is an application seeking permission to hold marriage ceremony on 19.2.2007 as the booking of the place was made on 30.10.2006.

(2.) We allow the application and permit the applicant to hold functions of marriage on 19th February, 2007 with the undertaking that the place will be cleaned and cleared by 6.00 a. m. The NDMC shall also ensure on its own that the place has been cleaned up and disinfected and no foul smell shall emit which is detrimental to the health of the morning walkers.

(3.) However, since we are receiving applications in this regard, a notice be issued to the Secretary, NDMC to be present in person along with the booking register of marriages and other functions to be held at Talkatora Garden so that we may make a final order in this regard. Notice be served dasti.
