SYED NIZAM ALI Vs. GURUPRASAD

Decided On February 29, 2016
Syed Nizam Ali Appellant
V/S
Guruprasad Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard the Counsel for the Revision Petitioner at length.

(2.) Challenge in these Revision Petitions, under Section 21(b) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (in short "the Act"), is to the separate orders dated 22.06.2015 passed by the Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission at Bangalore (in short "the State Commission") in First Appeal Nos. 765 769 & 792 797 of 2013 and 442 of 2014. By the impugned orders, the State Commission dismissed the Appeals, confirming the orders of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Mysore (in short "the District Forum") but, however, gave three months' time to the Revision Petitioner/Opposite Party to pay the amount with interest to the Respondents/Complainants as directed by the District Forum.

(3.) Since the dispute, subject matter of these Revision Petitions, as also facts involved are similar and the Opposite Party, i.e. the Revision Petitioner, is also the same in all the Revision Petitions, these Revision Petitions are being disposed of by a common order. For our convenience, Revision Petition No.463 of 2016 is treated as the leading case. However, this order would dispose of all the Revision Petitions.
