(1.) The petitioner being aggrieved of concurrent finding of the Foras below resulting in dismissal of his consumer complaint has preferred this revision petition. The revision petition, however, has been filed after the expiry of period of limitation with a delay of six months as per the petitioner and 174 days as per the computation done by the registry. As per the report of registry impugned order was passed by the State Commission on 5th March, 2014 and its copy was received by the complainant on 6th March, 2014. The revision petition has been filed on 25th November, 2014. Therefore, it is evident that the revision petition has been filed after the expiry of period of limitation of 90 days with a delay of 174 days.
(2.) The petitioner has filed an application for condonation of delay which reads as under: -
(3.) It is submitted by the petitioner that the delay in filing of revision petition is unintentional and the delay has occurred because the petitioner was bed ridden for the last about one year. In support of the application petitioner has placed on record two medical certificates, one dated 9.1.2014 and other dated 5.2.2014, both issued by Dr. Mukesh Kumar. The medical certificate dated 5.2.2014 is relevant which reads as under: -
