(1.) Appellant is present in person. Respondents-1 to 3 are represented by their Counsel while respondent-4 is represented by its Counsel Mr. S. Nayak, Advocate. The present dispute relates to separate connection of electric meter in the portion occupied by respondents-1 to 3. At present they are enjoying electricity coming from the meter installed in the portion presently under occupation of the appellant. The appellant submits that there had been a partition of joint property long time back and mutation had been effected with the Municipality. In support of his case he has produced copy of Assessment Register wherefrom it would appear that separate portion has been allowed to the erstwhile co-share. Learned Lawyer for the respondents-1 to 3 submits that in fact no partition of the property had been effected. He admits however, that the respondents-1 to 3 are enjoying electricity from separate meters installed in the portion of the appellant. Anyway, we find that to resolve the dispute it would be better if opposite parties 1 to 3 approach the CESC for shifting all the meters from the premises of the appellant to their respective premises on such approach being made and on observance of usual formalities the CESC will examine the feasibility of shifting of the meters and take necessary steps in this regard. The entire exercise is to be done within one month from this date. With this observation, the appeal be disposed of. A copy of the order be handed over to the opposite parties in course of this day. Opposite parties-1 to 3 are directed to approach the CESC alongwith copy of order.
