JUDGEMENT

(1.) The appellant is the 1st opposite party.

(2.) The 1st Respondent/Complainant filed complaint against appellant and Respondents 2 to 5 who are the opposite parties 2 to 5 before the District Forum alleging deficiency of service regarding the delivery of goods through shipment claiming for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- with 18% interest as compensation for the loss sustained and for the cost.

(3.) Before the District Forum, 5th opposite party remained absent and set and set exparte and other opposite parties 1 to 4 have denied the allegations of the complainant and pleaded that there was no deficiency of service and no loss was occurred to the complainant.
