JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Mr. Karma Thinlay, learned Central Government Counsel for the petitioners Union of India and another.

(2.) HAVING heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner as well as upon careful consideration of the materials made available on record itself we do propose to dispose of this writ petition today itself at the motion stage.

(3.) BASIC facts in brief are that the Respondent herein was reverted by order dated 23.10.2003 from the post of Assistant Field Officer (Veterinary) to a substantive post of Senior Field Assistant (Veterinary) and one T.C. Arya was promoted to the post of Assistant Field Officer (Veterinary). This reversion of the Respondent was made admittedly after 7 years of his promotion to the said post without giving him any opportunity of hearing.
