JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard, learned counsel for the appellant and learned A.P.P. for State.

(2.) The sole appellant stands convicted for the offence under Section 302 of the I.P.C. and sentenced to undergo imprisonment for life, vide the impugned judgment and order of sentence dated 02.08.1996 passed by the learned Additional Session Judge, Seraikela, in Sessions Trial No. 222 of 1992.

(3.) The F.I.R. was instituted on the basis of the fardbeyan of informant, Munni Bankira (P.W.-3) inter-alia containing the following allegation:
