(1.) The appellant, namely, Hari Bhanjan Singh, has suffered the judgment of conviction under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and the order of sentence of R.I for life for the said offence, both dated 06.12.2005, passed in Sessions Trial No. 212 of 2001.
(2.) On 16.09.2019, Ms. Vipul Divya, the learned APP has made a statement in the Court that by virtue of the order of the State Sentencing Review Board, the appellant on completion of sentence, on remission, has been released.
(3.) An affidavit dated 20.09.2019 has been filed by one Baleshwar Pandey, ASI, Jaldega P.S, District-Simdega in which it is stated that on completion of actual custody of 17 years and 17 days, the convict, namely, Hari Bhanjan Singh has been prematurely released. Along with this affidavit, a report from the Superintendent, Birsa Munda Central Jail, Hotwar, Ranchi dated 15.09.2019 has been annexed.
