JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard counsel for the parties.

(2.) The grievance of the petitioner in this writ application is to the Bill dated 13.12.2004 (Annexure-12), as raised by the respondent Electricity Board, genuineness of which has been disputed by the petitioner.

(3.) Earlier, being aggrieved against a similar Bill (Annexure-9) raised by the respondents, the petitioner had approached this court for an order to quash the Bill. This court, by its order passed in the WPC No. 3249 of 2004, had remitted the matter back to the concerned authorities of the respondents to serve a revised Bill to the petitioner along with the copy of the calculation chart within one month from the date of the representation filed by the petitioner. Petitioner had submitted his representation, stating therein that the Bill, as raised, was erroneous since there was apparent mistake in the billing. However, the concerned authorities of the respondent Board raised the impugned Bill by way of fresh assessment, demanding payment of a sum of Rs. 55,976/-
