JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD counsel for the parties.

(2.) THE petitioner in this writ application has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to pay him all the retiral benefits including gratuity, leave encashment, etc for which he is legally entitled, consequent upon availing his separation from service of the respondent employer under the VRS Scheme on 26.11.1999.

(3.) PURSUANT to the policy decision, and with a view to stabilize the service records of its employees, service sheet excerpts of the employees were given by the respondents to each employee including the petitioner to enable them to update the entries and also for rectification of error in the entries, if any.
