JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents.

(2.) THE petitioner in this application has prayed for issuance of a direction to the respondents to give him compassionate appointment on the basis of service of his father who died in harness on 14.7.2006.

(3.) THE petitioner's grievance is that in spite of the petitioner's eligibility and the recommendations made by the committee, he has not been appointed and after waiting for a considerable period when the petitioner was not granted appointment, he was constrained to file the present writ petition.
