JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner relies upon his Identity Card issued on 6.9.1975 in which his date of birth is mentioned as 30.5.1953. A copy of the said Identity Card has been enclosed as Annexure -1 to this writ petition. The petitioner also relies upon a notice dated 5.6.1987 in which his date of birth was mentioned as 30.5.1949 which was corrected to 30.5.1953, as per the Identity Card. Relying upon these the petitioner submits that his date of birth should be treated as 30.5.1953 and not as 30.5.1949.

(2.) THIS does not appear to be a case where this subsequent date of birth is being alleged by the petitioner for the first time at the fag end of his career, rather it is a case where the documents issued by the respondents themselves in 1975 and also in 1987 are indicating the date of birth as claimed by the petitioner.

(3.) THIS writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
