JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner seeking relief by way of issuance of direction to the respondents to pay the benefits of ACP and fixation of pension in the revised pay scale after grant of ACP in accordance with law for which the petitioner is entitled.

(2.) In substance, the petitioner has not been granted the benefits in spite of recommendation of the Superintendent of Police and other officers for grant of ACP and his pension has not been fixed on the basis of the revised pay scale.

(3.) From perusal of Annexure 2 and other documents, it is revealed that though recommendation for grant of the benefit of ACP has been made to the D.I.G. Ranchi, but according to the petitioner, no order has been passed by the respondent no. 4.
