(1.) Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the parties.

(2.) In this Public Interest Litigation, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs:

(3.) So far the aforesaid reliefs are concerned, it goes without saying that the respondents shall implement the provisions of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1985 in its true spirit. The authorities empowered under the said Act shall take all steps for the implementation of the aforesaid statute.
