(1.) THE present writ petition has been preferred for the following reliefs: -
(2.) THE main contention raised by the counsel for the petitioner is that he was initially appointed for a period of one year on 18.12.98 for a consolidated amount of Rs.1,800/ -. According to the counsel for the petitioner his contract was extended from time to time. However, vide impugned order dated 24.8.2002 the services of the petitioner being not required was terminated. The petitioner made representation and also claimed the salary for the period worked, which finally led to filing of the present writ petition.
(3.) THE terms of appointment nowhere entitles him or confers him any legal or vested right. However, the prayer of the petitioner is that in case if there is any future vacancy he should be considered and preference should be given and at the same time the dues for the period actually worked should also be given.
