JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Shri Rajiv Ranjan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Shri Rajeev Sharma, learned Senior Counsel as well as Shri B.K. Jha, Advocate, for the respondents 5 and 6.

(2.) PETITIONERS have prayed for quashing the appointment process initiated by the Secretary of the Managing Committee of the Mahila College, Godda through open advertisement issued by them on 23rd December 2007 for recruitment of Lecturers in the Mahila College, Godda.

(3.) SINCE the order of sanction for the additional posts has not been forthcoming from the State Government, the Managing Committee of the college has adopted its own method of recruiting teachers by way of ad -hoc arrangements to teach additional subjects in science and Arts. The petitioners, who have also been inducted in service by way of ad -hoc arrangements, have been functioning. For the aforesaid purposes, the Managing Committee of the college has issued the impugned advertisement inviting applications from eligible candidates for appointment on the post of lecturers in the various subjects.
