JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. Saurabh Shekhar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Abhay Prakash, A.C to learned A.A.G for the respondents.

(2.) In the instant writ application, the petitioner has inter alia prayed for direction upon the respondents to forthwith consider the case of the petitioner for his posting as Executive Engineer (Current Charge) and also to consider the case of the petitioner for regular promotion to the post of Executive Engineer and further prayer has been made to forthwith release the benefit of both up-gradations in the pay-scale under Assured Career Progression Scheme.

(3.) Controverting the averments made in the writ application, a counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents-State.
