JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, commanding upon the respondents, specially respondent no. 4, to regularize the service of the petitioner, who is working as Work Charge Employee since 17.11.1987 and prior to that he was working on Muster Roll basis on the post of Godown Chowkidar. Further prayer has been made for a direction upon the respondents to pay the salary of the petitioner, which is due since December, 2000 alongwith other consequential reliefs.

(2.) SPECIFIC case has been made out that the petitioner is still working and is entitled to be regularized.

(3.) BE that as it may, the issue with respect to regularization has been replied by the respondents at paragraph no. 7 of the counter affidavit, which is as under:
