WILLIAM KULLU Vs. STATE OF JHARKHAND

Decided On November 27, 2008
William Kullu Appellant
V/S
STATE OF JHARKHAND Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE present writ petition has been preferred for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to immediately and forthwith issue the appointment letter to the petitioner whose name has been approved by the Establishment Committee for appointment on compassionate ground in Class -III post, as the father of the petitioner died on 21.12.1996.

(2.) THE counsel for the petitioner submits that in spite of the decision taken by the Committee, the letter of appointment has not been issued.

(3.) PRIMA facie, it appears and even the petitioner admits that there was some typographical error and the respondent authority has not rejected the representation of the petitioner but only wanted some testimonies with regard to the correct name of the petitioner.
