JUDGEMENT

(1.) In this writ petition, petitioner has prayed for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, particularly a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the order dated 21.9.2007 vide Memo No. 1485, whereby and whereunder, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jharkhand Armed Police, Ranchi, has rejected the claim of the petitioner for appointment on the post of constable. Further prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of constable with retrospective date i.e. the date from which candidates having less marks were appointed.
