JUDGEMENT

(1.) In this writ petition, petitioner has prayed for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondents to make regular payment of subsistence allowance to the petitioner in pursuance of the order dated 9.2.1989, passed by the Inspector General of Police, Bhagalpur Zone. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to make payment of the subsistence allowance to the petitioner since October, 2007 onwards. Petitioner has further prayed to quash the order no.1636/07 dated 21.9.2007, passed by the Superintendent of Police, Deoghar, whereby, subsistence allowance of the petitioner has been stopped.
