(1.) THE petitioner in this writ petition has challenged Annexure -4, which is an order passed by the Deputy Commissioner (Respondent No.4), pursuant to which a panel has been prepared for the appointment to the post of Class -IV in different categories.
(2.) THE petitioner's grievance is that though the advertisement in respect of the post of cooks prescribes that the candidates should have at least one year experience, but without testing the skill of such cooks, the panel has been prepared with a proposal to appoint them.
(3.) THE petitioner, in my opinion, is not eligible for entertaining this writ petition. Nevertheless, considering the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner having rendered service as a cook in the concerned establishment for several years and his services having been, by now, tested to be satisfactory, the respondent No.4, Deputy Commissioner may consider the candidature of the petitioner for his appointment to the post of cook in the light of the experience, if any, gained by the petitioner and the utility of the petitioner's services in the concerned establishment.
