JUDGEMENT

(1.) Pursuant to the order dated 5-7-2017, the O.P. No. 2, Director, Handloom, Sericulture and Handicrafts, Industries Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi, is present in the Court in person to justify the order passed by him, rejecting the claim of the petitioner.

(2.) To recapitulate the matter, the petitioner had filed W.P.(S) No. 6230 of 2014, claiming regularization of his service, which was never considered, even though, the petitioner was taken in service on 29-6-1980 and he superannuated on 31-12-2014. By order dated 1-8-2016, the said writ application was disposed of in the following terms :-

(3.) As the said order was not complied with, the petitioner was compelled to file the present contempt application on 30-1-2017. A show- cause was filed on behalf of the O.P. No. 2, Director, Handloom, Sericulture and Handicrafts, Industries Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi, on 14-6-2017, stating that the order dated 1-8-2016, passed by this Court in W.P. (S) No. 6230 of 2014 has been substantially complied with, by passing a speaking order on 8-6-2017, rejecting the claim of the petitioner, which has been brought on record as Annexure-A to the said show-cause.
