JUDGEMENT

(1.) In this writ petition following prayer has been made:

(2.) Having heard counsel appearing for both sides and looking to the progress in the investigation with respect to the offence in question which have been registered and which is popularly known in the State of Jharkhand as "Cash for vote" in the election of the Mayor of the city of Ranchi.

(3.) This "Cash for Vote" case has already been investigated into and Charge sheet dated 5th June, 2013 and 31st July, 2013 have already been filed by the investigating officer. The trial has already commenced against the accused persons including the Mayor of the City of Ranchi and few witnesses have also been examined in the concerned case, viz. Special Case No. 11 of 2013, which is pending before the Special Judge, Vigilance, Ranchi.
