JUDGEMENT

(1.) Raising a grievance of alleged laxity on the part of the respondents not to promote the petitioner on Class III post, the present writ petition has been filed.

(2.) Heard.

(3.) Referring to Annexure-B to the counter-affidavit which is the proceeding of the District Compassionate Appointment Committee which considered the claim of the petitioner along with others for appointment on compassionate grounds, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the decision taken by the Committee was not based on any statutory rules/guidelines and for that reason appointment of the petitioner on Class IV post must be held unjustified.
