JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard both sides.

(2.) Aggrieved by the recording of conviction for the offences punishable under section 7 and 13 (1) (d) read with section 13 (2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, the present appeal is preferred by the original accused. The appellant/accused was directed to suffer rigorous imprisonment for six months and one year and to pay a fine of Rs.50/, respectively on each count. Both the substantive sentences were directed to run concurrently.
