JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

(2.) The Management Petitioner has preferred this writ petition being aggrieved by Award dated 17th Jan., 2001 (pronounced on 25th Jan., 2002) (Annexure-8) in Reference Case no. 15 of 1998 by learned Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Bokaro Steel City. The learned Labour Court has by the impugned Award held the reference as maintainable and the action of the management not to regularize the services of the concerned workmen is not justified. It has accordingly held that the concerned workmen are entitled for regularization of their services from 26th May, 1995 (the date of submission of statement of demand) with all back wages and consequential benefits.

(3.) The Government of Bihar vide its notification dated 21st July, 1998 made the following reference for adjudication before learned Labour Court, Bokaro Steel City:
