JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

(2.) The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Murhu P.S. Case No. 21 of 2016, corresponding to G.R. No. 104 of 2016 registered under Section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 33 Indian Forest Act.

(3.) It appears that one Dumper bearing Reg. No. JH02F -4048 was intercepted by the officer -in -charge which was carrying 42 pieces of Sal logs worth Rs. 1,50,000/ -, in which seven persons were made accused. It is alleged that the petitioner and Izhar Khan escorted the dumper by Pulsar Motorcyle and Laxman Sao and Durga Sao escorted the dumper by Bolero.
