JAGNARAYAN NAYAK Vs. STATE OF BIHAR (NOW JHARKHAND)

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE appellant was tried, under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and on being found guilty, he was sentenced to imprisonment for life. The present appeal is against the said conviction and sentence.

(2.) ON receipt of the requisition and the dead body, Dr. Mani Bhushan Prasad, PW -8 conducted autopsy and he found the following injuries :

(3.) AFTER the completion of investigation, final report was filed against the appellant and when questioned under Section 313 Cr.P.C., he denied all the incriminating circumstances and has stated that as PW -4 was not happy with the marriage of Gita Devi with him, he had given a false complaint.
