MEERA SINGH Vs. STATE OF JHARKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The Deputy Commissioner, Saraikela-Kharsawan is present in person. He submits that the earlier order was passed by his predecessor and he was not aware of the aforesaid order. He submits that when the same has been brought to his notice, he had taken steps and ensured that the order is complied with.

(2.) He submits that in respect of petitioner No.1- Meera Singh, petitioner No.2- Banshidhar Mahto @ Banshidhar Mahato and petitioner No.3- Mahabir Mahto @ Mahabir Mahato, a reasoned order has been passed and it is expected that the admitted amount will be transmitted to their account by tomorrow.

(3.) He submits that so far as the other petitioner i.e. petitioner No.4 "" Shakuntala Kumari Munda, is concerned, a direction has been sought from the Health Department and the Department of Social Welfare, before taking a decision. He submits that within two weeks a decision will be taken and if it is found that any amount is payable to petitioner No.4, the same will be disbursed within two days thereafter.
