JUDGEMENT

(1.) 2001 (2) JLJR 213. In the said case though there was a delay of about 17 years he was permitted to correct the date of birth recorded in the service book.

(2.) HOWEVER , after hearing counsel for the parties, I am not inclined to accept this submission as made on behalf of the petitioner for the grounds mentioned hereinunder.

(3.) SO far as retirement benefit is concerned the petitioner may move separately before the authority concerned who will decide the claim.
