JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS application has been preferred by the petitioner for a direction on the respondents to pay him the arrears of retiral benefits and other dues, such as, arrears of pension on revised pay scale with effect from 1st September, 1999, arrears of salary on revised pay scale with effect from 1st April, 1997 to 31st August, 1999, gratuity on revised pay scale, leave encashment on revised pay scale and commutation of pension on revised pay scale.

(2.) ACCORDING to the petitioner, he was in the services of the Bihar State Electricity Board and retired on 31st August, 1999 from the post of Accounts Assistant, South Bihar Area Electricity Board, Ranchi. After retirement, he has been paid GPF, GSS and other benefits.

(3.) IN the facts and circumstances, instead of asking the respondents to file counter affidavit, the case is remitted to the respondents of their determination. The petitioner should file a representation before the General Manager -cum -Chief Engineer, Transmission Zone -1, Kusai Colony, Doranda, Ranchi, who, in his turn, will decide the claim and pass appropriate order within two months from the date of receipt of representation. If any amount is found payable to be petitioner, the respondents will pay the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of representation.
