JUDGEMENT

(1.) Aggrieved by the final order dated 24.5.2012, the wife of the deceased employee has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition. The following penalties have been imposed on the deceased employee:--

(2.) A charge was framed on 29.3.2012 and it was served upon the husband of the petitioner on 4.4.2012. The husband of the petitioner died-in-harness on 10.4.2012 and the penalty order was passed on 24.5.2012.

(3.) A counter-affidavit has been filed taking a plea that since an amount of Rs. 18,66,866/- remained unadjusted, the order for recovery of the said amount under the Public Demand Recovery Act has been passed.
