JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD counsel for the parties.

(2.) THE petitioner in the instant case is said to have retired on 30.04.2010 from the post of Junior Lineman in the Office of respondent no. 4 -Assistant Electrical Engineer, Electric Supply Division of J.S.E.B., Dhanbad. According to him, he was the member of the Employees Pension Scheme, 1995 having Pension Account No. JH/206/36 and amounts have been deducted from the petitioner's salary towards the pension contribution till 30.04.2008. Therefore, he is entitled to such pension for which he has also represented but without avail.

(3.) LEARNED counsel for the respondent Employees Provident Fund Organization has filed affidavit and also stated that deposits have been received up to December, 1996 under the Pension Scheme of 1971 and remittance received by the Management thereafter have not been furnished by way of returns to the E.P.F.O. till date.
