JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD the parties.

(2.) THE main grievance of the petitioner in this writ application is that though the Chief Engineer by issue of a letter dated 16.5.2002 as contained in Annexure -8 to the writ application requested the Secretary, Water Resources Department, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi to decide the claim of the members of the Petitioner Association regarding their absorption in their respective posts but no decision has yet been taken.

(3.) IN view of the above facts, this application is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh representation within one week from today along with all supporting documents stating in detail about their claim to the Secretary, Department of Water Resources, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi. If such a representation is filed by the petitioner to the Secretary within the time specified, the Secretary, Department of Water Resources, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi is directed to pass an appropriate reasoned order within a period of six weeks from the date of filing of the representation in accordance with law considering the claim of the petitioner in its right perspective.
