JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD learned counsel for the parties.

(2.) THE prayer of the petitioner in the present writ application is for quashing the entire certificate proceeding being Certificate Case No. 18 of 1999 -2000 pending before the Certificate Officer, Santhal pargana Division, Dumka.

(3.) IT is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in similar matter this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 242 of 2002 has disposed of the writ application with a direction to the Certificate Officer to dispose of the objection first and then to take any action. Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Certificate Officer, Dumka to decide the objection filed by the petitioner under section 9 of the Public Demands Recovery Act by a reasoned order after hearing the parties preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
