SAJID ANSARI Vs. STATE OF JHARKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard both the sides. The petitioner- Sajid Ansari @ Md. Sajid Ansari is in custody in connection with Gandey P.S. Case No. 89 of 2018 corresponding to G.R. No.2195 of 2018 for the offence registered under Ss. 379, 411 of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of J.M. 1st Class, Giridih.

(2.) It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that there is no legal evidence against him and he is custody since 28/10/2022. His name has figured in the confessional statement of the co-accused Ataul Sheikh, who has already been enlarged by the Court below. There is no recovery from this petitioner and he has been implicated in this case merely on suspicion. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail.

(3.) Under the circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000.00(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
