JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

(2.) THIS application is directed against the Judgment dated 10th September 2009, passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, F.T.C.-II, Seraikella Kharsawan, in Cr. Appeal No.4 of 2008, whereby the appeal filed against the Judgment and Order dated 30.1.2008, passed by Sri D. K. Singh, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Seraikella, in G.R. No.935 of 2004 / T.R. No.64 of 2008 convicting and sentencing the petitioners for the offence under Section 498A of the IPC, has been dismissed by the Appellate Court below.

(3.) IT is accordingly, submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that it would be beneficial for both the parties that the compromise between the parties be accepted, in exercise of inherent power under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., and the petitioners be acquitted.
