STATE OF JHARKHAND Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) IN the year 2005, one public spirited Advocate, Mr.Dhananjay Kumar Dubey, has approached this Court by filing this writ petition in the form of Public Interest Litigation, seeking relief of construction of Fly Over which is known as Namkum bridge. After several orders, running in several pages, and after taking very harsh stand by the High Court and almost about eight years this Fly Over has been constructed. The length of Fly Over is 1.65 kilometers only with a budget of about 65.00 Crores. The said bridge has been duly inaugurated on 26th January, 2013, as assured by the learned counsel for the State, Shri R.R.Mishra. However, some ancillary work is still due, like completion of service road and electrification of the bridge and for that purpose, poles have already been installed there.

(2.) IT is stated that this work may take time of about one month. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the State that Ranchi Municipal Corporation should now apply for the electric connection and should give a completion certificate to the Jharkhand State Electricity Board, so that connection may be released in time.

(3.) TO see the final progress, post this matter again on 5th March, 2013. Let a copy of this order be given to the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as to the learned counsel for the State and also to the learned counsel for the Union of India and Ranchi Municipal Corporation.
