JUDGEMENT

(1.) ISSUE raised in the WPS No. 1762/12 appears to be common and similar to those raised in other batch of writ petitions led by WPS No. 5609/12 and analogous cases.

(2.) OF Police, Jharkhand, acting on the basis of the inquiry committee report, made recommendation to the Government to draw a fresh selection list based upon the merit.

(3.) COUNSEL for the petitioners in other writ petitions submits that such counter affidavit has not however been filed in their respective writ petitions. Counsel for the respondent State submits that such an affidavit would also be served upon the counsel appearing in other writ petitions as well.
