JUDGEMENT

(1.) Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent -State is not giving extra time or additional time to appear in the examination to the disabled persons. Those who are disabled, they should be given extra time or additional time to appear in the examination whether it is school examination, college examination or examination conducted by any educational institutions or it may be by public service commission or for any competitive examination as well as the examinations which are conducted by the State.

(2.) THE counsel appearing for the petitioner has pointed out several instances in which extra time or additional time is given to the disabled persons to appear in the examination, in comparison with those who are not disabled persons.

(3.) IT appears that there is a guideline given by the Central Government as stated hereinabove to give "compensatory time  to the disabled persons/students who are appearing in the written examinations. Looking to the circular we hereby direct the petitioner to join:
