JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the State. Petitioners are accused in connection with Sadar (SC/ST) PS Case No. 20 of 2012 pending in the Court of learned CJM, Palamau at Daltonganj.

(2.) IT reveals that this case has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail in the case registered under Section 447/504/506/34, IPC and Section 3(x) of the Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Since Section 18 of the Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act bars application of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, this application is not maintainable and is, accordingly, dismissed.
