IN this writ application, the petitioner prays for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the detention order issued under Section 3 of the National Security Act, 1980 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act) as contained in Memo No. 38 dated 5.2.2002 (Annexure 2) which was passed by the District Magistrate, Lohardaga (respondent no.2).
