JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD learned counsel for the parties.

(2.) THIS writ petition has been preferred for cancellation of settlement of Chabhadova Bandh in favour of respondent no.6 for the years 2005-06 and 2006-07 by the Block Co-operative Extension Officer, respondent no.5.

(3.) THE respondents have appeared and filed their counter affidavit in which, by relying upon the same order of the Joint Registrar, it has been asserted that the respondent no.5 was directed to ensure that respondent no.6 will pay Rs.11600/- by way of compensation to the petitioner. It is farther stated in para 7 of the counter affidavit that as per order as contained in Annedure 8, the respondent no.5 was further directed to hold an election of the Members of the Fishery Society as early as possible.
