DEWANTI DEVI Vs. THE STATE OF JHARKHAND

JUDGEMENT

(1.) BAIL application filed by Dewanti Devi is moved by Sri Manoj Kumar Sah, learned counsel for the petitioner and opposed by Sri. S.K. Srivastava, Addl P.P. for the State. The main allegation of torture for demand of dowry is against the husband. There are general and omnibus allegations against the present petitioner, who is a lady and languishing in jail custody from 23.07.2012.

(2.) CONSIDERING the aforesaid fact and circumstance, I allow this application and direct the court below to enlarge the petitioner, named above, on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/ - (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Hazaribagh in connection with Barhi P.S. case no. 199/2012 corresponding to G.R. No. 3306/2012.
