JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD Mr. A.K. Sinha, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned State counsel and Mr. Tapen Sen, counsel appearing for the intervenor.

(2.) IN this writ application the petitioner seeks appropriate direction upon respondent No. 3, the Governing Body, Bokaro Mahila College, Bokaro Steel City, Bokaro to issue appointment letter in favour of the petitioner as lecturer in the faculty of Chemistry on the basis of the recommendations made by the Bihar College Public Service Commission vide letter No. 831, dated 26.7.1999.

IT appears that similar writ applications were filed by other candidates whose names were also recommended by the Commission for appointment on the post of lecturer in different subjects in Bokaro Mahila College, B.S. City, Bokaro. One Mr. Lal Bahadur Prasad filed CWJC No. 1911/2000 for appointment on the post of lecturer in Geography. One Indu Kumari also filed CWJC No. 3390/99 (R) seeking the same relief for appointment on the post of lecturer in Mathematics. Both the writ application were disposed of with a direction to the respondent - Governing Body to take a decision on the basis of the recommendations made by the Commission.
