JUDGEMENT

(1.) IN all the cases, as the common question of law is involved, they were heard together and are being disposed of by this common order.

(2.) THE petitioners, who have retired as professor from the Services of the University. have preferred the writ petitions for direction on the respondents to pay them pension on the basis of last pay drawn by them and not to deduct any amount from their pension on the basis of any decision taken by the respondents after their promotion to the posts of professor.

(3.) AT this stage, it may be mentioned that the colleges in which the petitioners were appointed, were under the control of the Bhagalpur University but since the end of the year 1992, they were carved out and placed under newly constituted Sidhu Kanhu University.
