RADHA GOVIND Vs. VINOBA BHAVE UNIVERSITY AND ANR.

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The instant writ petition is preferred for grant of affiliation on a permanent basis to the Petitioner college for M.Ed. Course for the session 2010 -11 immediately as the Petitioner college has already been granted recognition by the National Council for Teachers' Education, Eastern Regional Committee, Bhubneshwar.

(2.) The matter of affiliation is pending since a very long time but the Respondent University has been sitting tight over the matter without any serious effort to pass the order of affiliation. Career of students will be jeopardized only because of inaction on the part of the Respondent University.

(3.) Previously a Division Bench in L.P.A. No. 372 of 2010 had issued a direction to the Respondents to grant affiliation for the session 2009 -10 within two weeks and a direction was given that affiliation will not be refused on technicalities.
