JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the Prosecution.

(2.) The petitioner has been made accused for the offence under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 472, 489A, 414 read with 120B of the Indian Penal Code, in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 240 of 2010 corresponding to G.R. No. 2859 of 2010.

(3.) It is alleged that co-accused Sudhir Prasad Singh who claimed to be the proprietor of one Madhu Construction Pvt. Ltd. contacted the informant, who deals in iron rod for purchase of 14 tonnes of iron rod at the cost of Rs. 4,50,000/-. On the next date, drafts were sent to the informant through a driver of the truck along with the truck for loading the iron rod. The informant also contacted Sudhir Prasad Singh who ask him to get the iron rod loaded on the truck, but the informant had some suspicion about the drafts, whereupon, the driver told him to get the drafts verified and thereafter he left away. Upon verification, the drafts were found to be forged.
